Cameras and Kylee

Video of the post: A Letter's Journey

Life does this thing where it likes to be overwhelming. But even in the midst of an overwhelming existence, one can wake up to sunshine and warm[ish] weather and capitalize on the fun parts of that existence. On Saturday morning I did just that.

Graphic designer and creative lettering extraordinaire Kylee Bateman has allowed me the pleasure of being her friend and frequent filming partner. Here she practices lettering for a video project I helped her film.

Art supplies are - not surprisingly - often as beautiful as the works they create.

And the face.

Our filming was a two-camera production, with one camera held by me near the action and another one raised on two wooden cubes and a tripod, precariously angled above Kylee to capture her lettering process in aerial view. In concern for safety, this photo was not taken as high up as that camera.

Thank you for reading about our adventures!
