Sunlight and Cinema

Yesterday was a rare gem of a time where the notable Anna Steenson, who is ever devoting her conscientious and creative mind to visual storytelling, was able to be coaxed out of her video editing cave to accompany me on a photography escapade, as well as a viewing of Disney's spectacular new live action version of my favorite classic story.

We set out to local pond, and she was my guest in a shoot off with our respective cameras. Also making appearances were the last vibrant rays of afternoon sunlight, some water and ducks (sadly not pictured here), and a graffiti infested park shelter.

It was nearly impossible to catch Anna without her camera up to her face, but sometimes I did.

We smiled and laughed a lot.

Sometimes Anna explained things to me. Note: I let the sun engulf the frame on purpose. I wanted her shoe to be circled in rainbows. Obviously.

Majestic.

Though she isn't a fan of heights, Anna agreeably ventured up into the little observation house out on the pond with me. Thankfully, neither of us fell into the water while climbing the steps.

Finally, I would 100% recommend the new Beauty and the Beast, which Anna and I went to see when the light had faded for the day. Here are the show times at the Fleur Cinema, where we experienced the fantastic film.

Hooray for photos, films, and friendship!
